If only to tell off those annoying telemarketiers that try to sell you insurance on your credit cards — you know who they are. No, I’m kidding, don’t get it for them. But do get life insurance. You don’t know where you’ll end up – with disease, bankrupt, uninsurable, a smoker, with kids, with a mortgage, debt, etc, etc, etc. Your healthy, and younger than you ever will be – it’s not expensive. Do something semi-responsible first (like buy life insurance) so you can act stupid later.
Also, get insurance from insurance companies – London Life, Manulife, SunLife – all solid. The banks, usually not as good of a product, life insurance wise.
